On the Brain, each bell carries the inscriptions following:

And as a bell must be baptized, the following names
have summers selected and engraved on the Paunch.

ASTAROTH
Large very powerful duke with the hells. He has the figure of an extremely ugly angel and shows himself overlapping on an infernal dragon;il tints with the hand right a viper.

BEHEMOTH
Heavy and stupid demon. Its force is in its kidneys, its fields are the greediness and the pleasures of the belly. Demon of the instincts, the pleasure of the table and the belly. It was quoted with the lawsuits of Urbain Grandier, at the time of the business of "had of Loudun".

BYLETH
Strong and terrible demon, one of the kings of the hell, it is sitted on a white horse, preceded by trumpets and musicians of any kind. It was formerly of the order of the powers; it hopes for one day to go up in the sky on the seventh throne.

CLISTHERET
Demon which makes appear during the night with the middle of the day, and the day in the middle of the night when it is its whim.

FURFUR
Count with the hells, who shows himself in the shape of a stag with an ignited tail; it says only lies. It often takes the form of an angel, speaks about a raucous voice, and maintains the union between the husbands and the women; it makes fall the lightning, shine the flashes and thunder the thunder in the places where it receives the order.

HABORYM
Demon of the fires, also called AYM. It carries to the hells the title of Duke; it shows with horse on a viper, with three heads, one of snake, the other of man, the third of cat.

SAMAEL
