ROSA+CRVX. With no one another similar. Music-theatre performance. Mixing the rock'n'roll with the Gregorian chants. A personal music, new-wave (?) to which it would be absurd to make bringings together with more known groups. A song, neither in English, nor in French, even not in Latin, just a incantation for the pleasure sounds. A minimal group (2) which can become 15, according to the needs, desires. One synthé, a guitar, one limps has rate/rhythm, of the voices, but also of the percussions, mud, fire…

a cage. Rosa+Crvx, a group of atmosphere: distress, fire, creation. ROSA+CRVX: they are not some agreements plated on theatre, or brags to decorate music. Not. It is a unit: a work of art. Rosa+Crvx is before a whole group to be seen on scene, also do not miss them under any pretext when you intend to speak about their passage some share - and not obligatorily in a room specialized in the music.

"This is not a concert, this is not theatre. Music and performance mix to form a series of scenes. In order to keep only the gasoline even idea, these scenes were removed from their with dimensions anecdotic. They can be interpreted separately; however, their significance takes all his value when they are played together. They then become the pretext of a reflexion which will be specific to each one. It is the witness who makes the history.

Nothing of what can contribute to give a dark image of the human condition is excluded: a man is locked up in a cage, it is projected against a metal plate. This torture is inflicted to him only because the sound obtained is pleasant with entendre.L' to be is deprived of any conscience and is represented only in its most primitive form: a man takes mud and overlaps the body with them with a violence bestiale. It mixes with the matter. Great paintings with the ground on toi1e blackened are suspended in space and undulate like flags. It floats in the air a remainder of incense, a human effigy is burned.

The actors do not have a precise role; the scenes are lived and not played, indeed in the cage, really sudden man A a violent shock. All this carries the acts to the dimension of reality. The witness is in an ambiguous situation It is public, but it is also pilot and thus accessory to what occurs in front of him.

 

The actors have the four elements: air, ground, water, fire: they confront them and handle them together. The speech being centered more on the Matter, the Earth and Fire was privileged. Incidents and unforeseen mix and the setting in scene evolves/moves according to the capricious reaction of the elements. The spectacle is held each time in a different way and sometimes surprising.

"Adonaï Eloe Eloe… The torch is lit. Two men withdraw the cloth which covers the large suspended cage… The musicians leave on an insane rate, then an infernal machinery engages… "

 

A character enters, vêtu of a black cloth, behind him, two men, they transport momifiées human heads. According to a ritual order, they lay out them with the circle on the ground. In the center of the circle, the character knelt and undressed himself, his body was bleached, a bundle of cords and nodes hang its mouth and holds it open. To its feet a container filled with mud, the man there plunges his hands and projects mud on him, its white body is striated with long trails which arrive by squirted and which it then spreads out over him moving disordered. However its gestures are the ritual one. It seems that they are a kind of ritual of death. The piece of music finishes, one involves the character in the slides.
