First Apparition of Rosa†Crvx

- "And why wouldn't you come to make a concert in the school?" asked me Jacques Poli, one of my professor to the fine arts of Rouen. The idea trottait me in the head since one moment. The school of beautiful arts is installed in the aître Saint Maclou of Rouen, a large cloister which was used as common grave to the corpses of pestiférés and whose decoration could not be better selected for a first concert. At present that the request emanated from a professor the things were going to be a little simpler…

It should be said that it is a true circus for chambouler the practices of the hurdy-gurdies institutions like those of the schools of art. In general, to obtain a key of a photo laboratory it is necessary to await ten authorizations and that does not encourage to undertake great initiatives… To make a concert in the school supposed many administrative upheavals. The only enough large room to receive from the public was the large workshop of volume and, in normal time, it is so much overloaded work of unfinished pupils who it is difficult to find the place to build something there. There, it was a question of emptying it! To empty for one evening! How to make swallow that with the person in charge for the order? Without the support of a professor nothing was possible.

I thus was to find "Mr Pierre" a man close to the retirement which held with the eye the pupils "agitated a little" in my kind. I had taken the precaution to ask Jacques Poli to announce the thing to him to avoid the first overflowings. "Pierre" looked at to me arriving by far fixing me of the glance; the small war had just begun. There remained a long moment to look at me sweeping, cleaning and moving in a handing-over the various most cumbersome objects. Towards the end of day, the workshop starting to empty itself, it was time to pass to the serious things. The concert took place the following day evening and I had envisaged all the day of the following day for the sound preparations. It remained right in the middle of the workshop the enormous sawn timber bench and that Ci constituted an ideal support to start a scene there.

"would you Like to help me to move the bench of the other with dimensions of the workshop, Mr Pierre"?

Pierre of came red sharp and launched me an icy tone: "the bench will not move from here" on the same tone I answered him that I could nothing make with this large stupid trick in the medium of the room and that it was to move from there… The tone is assembled of a blow, "That made ten years that the bench is there, it will not move from here" and me "I you emmerde with your practices! I would put it where I would like!" The slanging match lasted an interminable time, I did not yield and, the tears with the eyes, Pierre helped me to move the bench. From this moment there, the first concert of Rosa-Crvx was finally possible. I had just learned the first lesson: to say shit to everyone and to sink. Being given that this kind in concert is a little unusual, the things will occur about thus throughout our course. Except some rare cases, we always met unwillingness on behalf of the technicians of room. It is as if a concert were to resemble so that they have in the head and that it is them which decided course of the events!

The following day, Claude joined me with seven balls of straw. According to our plan, we scatter the straw in all the space reserved to the public "to give the impression to them to be as pigs" then we make the turn of the school and gather in a corner of the room ten extinguishers and a maximum of water buckets.

Obviously, not of projectors! We borrowed hundreds of candles in all the churches of the corner like three splendid candelabra supporting each one eighty candles.

-"Then was Olivier, one with the mass instead of going year run?"

It is really very awkward to telephone has a priest, under the vigilant eye of the principal, and to give him appointment about three giant candelabra taken by mégarde in its church… Difficult also to explain how the large door of the principal nave was mysteriously open there this night, since the candelabra were too large to pass the door of entry of the visitors of the church… A true confession under the heberlués eyes of the priest!!!

- But how, devil! could transport all that???  … However it is not has a priest whom one explains what one can make when one has the faith…

The concert will begin with much delay.

 

The small crowd joined together in the straw will complete the evening with large jets of extinguishers: the mannequin, while burning, put fire at the floor of the scene… Impossible to stop me in my song, it too is enivrant. I am taken in my own play. Fire spreads all around me, I like am hypnotized, my hair start to burn, that does not make badly… I am elsewhere. I remember to have thought of one moment "it is formidable! … it does without something formidable!"
